More and more online jewelry stores are turning to providing ring sizing charts on their websites in order to be convenient for the customer to find what their ring size is right there and then without having to go out to a jewelry store or anything of the sort. There are different types of ring size charts and some are easier to understand than others. There are charts made specifically for ladies ring sizing and there is also a mens rings size chart specifically made for men.
Finding out what your ring size is whether your a female or male is fairly easy using one of these printable ring sizing charts. It may be a bit easier for a woman to understand these charts than it is for a man because women are more exposed to wearing rings since they were little girls. For most men, the first time they even put a ring on is either for their High School or College class ring, or their wedding band. If you are a man considering to purchase a ring for yourself online, consider using a mens rings size chart to find out the ring size you need before buying.
This method is the easiest of all methods to find out your ring size. The charts usually come with a series of circles with different sizes measured in millimeters. First of all you want to print out the chart. In order to avoid inaccurate ring size results make sure you print out the chart wit the one of the following two options disabled from your printer printing settings, “Shrink oversized pages to fit paper size” or “Expand small pages to paper size”.
Once you have your chart printed all you have to do is place a ring that you know already fits you over one of the circles on the chart until you find one that fits. Make sure that the inside of the ring lines up with the outside of the circle. If you find that your ring size seems to be in between two of the circles on the chart that is not there, then it would be best to go with the larger size of the two circles. This is because it is better to buy a ring just a tad bigger than your finger than to buy a small ring that you can’t even get past your knuckle.
If you want to double check your results you can always compare them to the results that you will get if you get your ring sized at a jewelry store. If one measurement is slightly bigger than the other than go with the biggest measurement.
